What to watch

The Washington State Department of Health issued a Limited Stop Service against Aequita Pharmacy (Kirkland, WA), reported as a Mochi-affiliated pharmacy, on March 13, 2025, alleging untrained staff performed sterile compounding and that sterile-compounding procedures were not followed.
Investigative reporting by NBC Bay Area and KING 5 cited whistleblowers alleging the affiliated pharmacy used unlicensed temporary workers to handle sterile compounded GLP-1 drugs, used frozen popsicles in place of medical-grade ice packs, and prepared expired prescriptions. The pharmacy reportedly closed in April 2025.
The Better Business Bureau lists Mochi Health as not accredited with a B- rating and 1,337 complaints filed, concerning cancellation and refund issues.

Who fills your prescription

Marketplace model: Mochi routes prescriptions to a network of compounding pharmacies and says patients pick a partner pharmacy in the patient portal. Mochi does not publish a full list of its partner pharmacies. One reported affiliated pharmacy, Aequita Pharmacy of Kirkland, WA, was subject to a Washington State Limited Stop Service in March 2025 and reportedly closed in April 2025.
